
General Ayad Ragheb Khalil
Position: Chairman of the Board
General Ayad Ragheb Khalil is a prominent figure in the field of security and public service, having held several high-ranking positions that contributed to enhancing security and stability in Egypt. He began his career as the head of investigations in the governorates of Sharqia and later Qena, where he demonstrated great efficiency in combating crime. He then moved on to become the head of the Anti-Narcotics Department in Qena, leading successful campaigns against drug traffickers and helping to curb the spread of this scourge.
Later, he assumed the role of Head of the General Security Branch for the governorates of Upper Egypt, where he played a pivotal role in maintaining security and stability in the region. Due to his expertise and efficiency, he was chosen as a mediator in the Reconciliation Committee during sectarian incidents in Qena, where he contributed to calming tensions and promoting social peace.
In 2020, he was selected by the President of the Republic of Egypt to become a member of the Egyptian Senate and a member of the Defense and National Security Committee, where he continued to offer his security expertise to help enhance national security.
On the service and volunteer side, General Ayad Ragheb Khalil serves on the board of St. George Church in Heliopolis, where he contributed to overseeing numerous development projects, such as the establishment of homes for the elderly, a youth resort in Orabi, and the preparation and equipping of a modern hospital affiliated with the church.
His pastoral service extended further when he became the Chairman of the Board of “The Compassionate Virgin Foundation,” where he aims to make the foundation a refuge and haven for cancer patients in need of treatment, setting a model of service and giving.

Counselor Monsef Nagib Suleiman
Position: Vice Chairman of the Board
Counselor Monsef Nagib Suleiman is a distinguished legal figure who has held numerous important positions contributing to the enhancement of justice and human rights in Egypt. As the former Vice President of the State Council, he led significant legal and administrative operations and contributed to the development of the judicial system. As a lawyer before the Court of Cassation, he represented his clients with the highest levels of professionalism and commitment, earning widespread trust due to his extensive legal expertise.
Counselor Monsef is also an active member of the National Council for Human Rights, where he continually works to promote human rights and protect marginalized groups within society. Additionally, he is a member of the House of Representatives and the Vice Chairman of the Religious Committee, reflecting his commitment to constructive interfaith dialogue and raising religious and ethical awareness in Egyptian society.
Beyond these roles, he serves as the Secretary General of the Coptic Endowments Authority, contributing to the management of resources and endowments allocated for community service. He is also a legal advisor to the Coptic Church, providing legal counsel and support in spiritual and administrative matters.

Mrs. Naguiba Hanna Suleiman
Position: General Secretary
Mrs. Naguiba Hanna Suleiman is a symbol of giving and sacrifice in her role as a devoted wife and mother. She was a supportive and encouraging wife to her husband, General Ayad Ragheb Khalil, sharing the responsibilities of managing their household and caring for their children with love and dedication, allowing him to focus on his successful professional career.
In addition to her family role, Mrs. Naguiba distinguished herself through her active involvement in pastoral services under the church’s umbrella. She served as the Coordinator for assisting poor families at the Virgin Mary Church in Qena, the Petrosian Church in Qena, and St. George Church in Heliopolis, Cairo. Through these roles, she helped alleviate the suffering of many and was a beacon of light in the lives of numerous needy families.
At the end of her pastoral journey, she became the Secretary General of the Board of "The Compassionate Virgin Foundation," where she continued to dedicate her efforts to alleviating the pain of the suffering and needy. Her charitable work represents a natural extension of her lifelong commitment to selfless service and giving.

Sherif Younan Kamel
Position: Board Member
Sherif Younan Kamel is the founder and CEO of Econtech for Engineering and Trading, a company based in Egypt. He founded this company in 2004, six years after his graduation. Sherif is a successful entrepreneur, and his company has engaged in various engineering and trading activities, focusing primarily on providing technological and industrial solutions. He is known for his deep expertise in this field and his prominent role in leading the company's growth and development.
Sherif divides his time between Egypt and the United States. During his time in the U.S., in addition to managing his company in Egypt remotely, he developed a strong passion for helping others. He played a key role in the development and establishment of the Irvine Rock Community Center in Irvine, California, which offers a variety of programs and services to the local community. The center hosts events, recreational activities, and classes for residents of all ages, especially the youth. He also established a volleyball academy for young girls there.
In addition to his business success, Sherif is deeply committed to helping those in need. Recognizing the urgent need in Egypt to assist underprivileged cancer patients, he, along with others who share his dream, decided to establish a cancer treatment foundation. Leveraging his expertise in creating successful organizations, his goal for this foundation is purely humanitarian. Sherif firmly believes that "it is always great to help people and participate in giving them hope in life, and to stand by them in their hardest moments." His dream is to create a facility that supports cancer patients medically, spiritually, and emotionally.
With his passion and abilities in aiding the suffering and needy, Sherif found in "The Compassionate Virgin Foundation" a vast field for service and giving, making him a cornerstone in the foundation's work. He aims to alleviate the pain of cancer patients and contribute to improving their lives in all aspects.

Amany Antoun Bassily
Position: Treasurer
Amany Bassily proudly hails from a family known for their dedication to community service and a strong sense of national duty. Her father, Counselor Antoun Bassily (1931-1990), former President of the Court of Appeals, was a distinguished Archon who left an indelible mark in both professional and spiritual fields. He played a significant role in church services and pastoral care, serving as the head of the Church Council of the Virgin Mary in Kasriet El-Rihan and Saint Barbara in Old Cairo. He made a lasting impact on the service of the poor and orphans, always giving generously. Due to his competence and wisdom, Pope Shenouda III entrusted him with several sensitive tasks, reflecting his stature and the church's trust in him. His name will remain a symbol of excellence in the judiciary and pastoral service.
Her grandfather, Estafan Bey Bassily (1900-1990), was a prominent figure in several legal, political, and church arenas in Egypt. He was a distinguished lawyer, a member of the Egyptian Parliament in the 1950s, a leader in the Wafd Party, Vice President of the Bar Association from 1949 to 1986, a founder of the Arab Lawyers Union, a member of the Coptic Orthodox Community Council, and was also appointed as a member of the Egyptian People's Assembly.
Amany's journey reflects this legacy of service. With 35 years of experience in finance and banking, she began her professional career in Qatar in the financial management of an American oil company before transitioning to significant roles in Qatar's leading financial institutions. She held the position of Head of Retail Credit Risk at three banks, most recently at Commercial Bank of Qatar, for twelve years.
Alongside her professional career, she also served the church and had the blessing of witnessing and participating in the establishment of the first Coptic Orthodox Church in Qatar.
